The author foundthat "changes in the organization of production and labor", as such, take place when they are conditionedby reasonable strategies for the development of the enterprise, and are also corrected by the basis ofharmonious stability of labor relations and regulatory requirements for the implementation of thecorresponding "changes". It has been proved that ensuring the stability of labor relations in the processof changes in the organization of production and labor today is complicated, in particular, by thefollowing problems: lack of relevant comprehensive studies of the impact of relevant changes on ensuringthe stability of labor relations and the possibility of optimizing the legal mechanism to ensure thisstability; excessively formal interpretation of the value of the principle of stability of labor relations,when the provision of such stability does not correspond to market realities; using the idea of stability asa tool for unfair influence of the employee on the employer; disregard of this principle by the employer;restriction of the employer's economic freedom, which may result in the employer's insolvency; the lack ofa clear methodology for satisfying the employee's preemptive right to remain at work, etc. Theconclusions to the article summarize the research results.
