LEGAL ISSUES OF THE INFLUENCE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES ON THE INTRODUCTION OF INNOVATIVE FORMS OF LABOR ORGANIZATION

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the impact of digitalization processes on the organization of labor. Today, for both science and practice, the question of studying trends in the introduction of innovative forms of labor organization under the influence of digitalization is acute. The author emphasizes that working scientists do not pay due attention to this issue, although in practice there are many issues related to the introduction of digital technologies in production processes. It is noted that on the one hand, digitalization in the field of labor increases productivity, reduces unit costs and allows enterprises, institutions and organizations to produce a certain number of goods and services with less employment, which leads to technological unemployment. However, on the other hand, digitalization in the field of labor leads to a reduction in unit production costs, and in a competitive market, this reduction stimulates higher demand for products. In turn, greater demand generates additional production, and thus stimulates rapid employment growth. The author notes that the rapid spread of innovative forms of labor organization is caused by three main prerequisites: technological, socio-economic and institutional.

It is concluded that when using remote employment, if the workplace is located at home, the employee does not need to spend time on daily travel to the office and back, ie the constant cost of time is reduced. Accordingly, the employee can use this time to increase working hours, redistributing working hours and leisure throughout the working day at its discretion. Therefore, in fact, remotely employed workers still increase working hours.
